How To Score 90+ Score in eLitmus Exam
Hello Readers, Welcome to my blog. Here I am going to guide you with step by step details to score above 90 percentile in eLitmus examination.
My Experience :
Back in the year 2017, when I was a final year Engineering Graduate I had taken this eLitmus Exam for Placement opportunities. Since my college was not among the tier 1, 2 3. the placement opportunities were very less and the ones which visited were for tech support roles. Hence I had to look for Pool campus or off-campus drives. Even Off-campus drives were less and difficult to crack because of huge competitions. From few of my friends and seniors I came to know about the placement consulting examinations like Amcat, CoCubes and ELitmus. Here I am going to explain in detail about my experience and tips or tricks to score well in eLitmus exam to get more placement opportunities.

- ITC Infotech
- HCL Technologies
- Mindtree

- GeekyAnts
- Split the time : 50 minutes for Quant, 50 minutes for Reasoning and Last 25 Minutes for English
- Please start from Quant my advice or else from Reasoning according to your command over the subject/topics.
- Don't start the paper from English because its the easiest one, but trust me This will not help you.
- And at last in Last 25-30 minutes go for English
Solving Each Section :
Logical :
- Questions related to data Interpretation, data sufficiency , cryptarithmetics etc. etc. will be present.
- Please start from Data Interpretation as it will be having 4 questions and easy to solve. Questions will be lengthy but take your time 15-20 minutes and solve all the 4 questions.
- Also try to attempt data sufficiency questions as it will help you to fetch another 4 questions marks.
- Please do not touch cryptarithmetic questions as it will be tricky and takes your whole time and you lose solving the values of alphabets.
- For those who does not know cryptarithmetic questions -> donkey + monkey = gold ? type of questions where you have to find the value of alphabets.
- Now you have solved around 8 questions which means 50+ marks i.e more than 80+ percentile.
Quant :
- Till now you have solved 5+ questions in Logical and lost 50 minutes. Make sure you invest only 50 minutes to quant.
- Start from first question. Go through the question and see if you can solve it.
- Don't waste too much time on one single question as we have only 5-10 mins for each question.
- If you think its very tough, cannot solve and lengthy go for next one.
- If you think you are familiar with the problem, lengthy and able to solve the question then take your own time up to 8-10 minutes and solve it.
- Solve only 4-5 questions and do not get tempted and solve 8-10 questions as it may lead you to negative score.
- If you have solved 4+ questions your score will be 40+ and above 70+ percentile.
- Try to solve 5-7 questions if you have time and don't go beyond 7 questions.
- Now you have around 25-30 minutes to solve verbal questions.
- Verbal section is the easiest part in this exam.
- Easily you can solve 12-15 questions in this section as questions will be very easy.
- Start from the first question. Do not jump directly to paragraph question. You will have enough time to reach this.
- If you solve at least 12 questions, your score will be 100+ and 95+ percentile.
- 5+ questions in Quant
- 6+ questions in logical
- 10+ in Verbal
