How To Get More Interview Calls From LinkedIn, Naukri, Monster and Indeed Platforms

 Hello Readers, Welcome to my blog, Hope you are doing good. Here I am gonna guide you on how to get more  interview calls from Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed and Monster platform.

Firstly, let me share my own struggling days to get single interview call and later I will share the tips and tricks to follow to get more calls.

My Experience

To begin with, back in those days, when I was in my final year of B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) in the year 2017 hoping to get recruited in MNC. Campus Placements were very less, since my college was not well reputed and not among the top tier colleges. The one which visited my college for placements were for Technical Support roles and I was not interested in that. So I started reaching out to my seniors and friends for more opportunities as I was from middle class family and getting a job was very urgent for me to run my daily life. I tried attending off-campus and pool-campus placements though but didn't get through due to more competition and chances were very less as they prefer there own college students than the others. 

I didn't lose hope and tried hard till last breath of my life to get the job. Fortunately, from few of my seniors I got to know about the top recruiting platforms such as Naukri, Indeed and Monster. Where we have to create our account or profile to get recruited for Companies all over the world. I followed my seniors advice and created profiles on all the recruiting platforms with a hope of interview calls. But the days went on and on, I didn't get a single interview calls from none of the platforms. Though I attached my updated resume and applied to all the matching jobs I didn't get a single call from the Recruiters. Then after all these failures, I started researching about the algorithms and search engine of these recruiting companies. Finally on one day I got to know the tips and trick to get the interview calls after so many research which I would be disclosing in this article.

RULES TO FOLLOW

So below are the steps you must follow to get more number of interview calls on any platform.

Complete 100 % (Percent) of your profile.

I have observed many job seekers doing this mistake that not completing their profile 100%. Even I did this mistake at the start but please don't do this. While creating your profile please make sure you have filled all the required details in the form. Whether it can be your resume headline or contact details, you have to complete your profile to reach 100% of your profile. This is the first step to keep our profile updated and ready to get recruited. Why because, generally the recruiters does not consider the profiles that are incomplete.

Get your Phone number and email-id verified

I have seen many job seekers that they forget to verify their mobile number and email-id. Remember that, without verifying the phone number and email-id your profile would not get 100% complete. So to make sure your profile gets successfully complete, you have to verify these details in any condition. This step is very important to keep ourselves highlighted to the recruiters. Normally recruiters ignore the  profiles which are not 100% complete. 

Updated your Profile on daily basis

Yes you read it correct, in order to keep our profile active and highlighted to the recruiters we need to follow this step. This is very simple, login to your profile, delete the last letter of your name and again enter the last letter of your name then save it. This seems weird but it really works. This is how the algorithm works and we need to follow this step to make algorithm understand to highlight our profile daily. Resume Headline

Great job guys!!! Now by doing all the above steps you profile is now 100% complete and its getting highlighted to the recruiters. When any HR or Recruiter finds your profile suitable for there job the first and foremost thing that they observe is your resume headline. So please make sure that you have quite an impressive resume headline in your profile rather than the boring one. Avoid writing "Experienced in Java development" as this is too generic. Follow writing this "3 years experience in java development" as this highlights your skill set and experience accurately. Try to mention your resume headline precisely as much as possible because this is the first thing that catches in recruiter eyes.

Attach Updated Resume or CV

Now your profile is getting highlighted and been recognized by the recruiters. But to get your profile considered for the job role, you need to attach your updated resume. Because once the recruiter finds your profile, the resume would be analyzed by the recruiter. If your resume is not up to date then you lose the opportunity. Your resume must contain all the details that you have entered in your profile. Generic details are mentioned below : 

1. Contact Details
2. Top Skills
3. Major Projects
4. Total Personal and Industry experience
5. LinkedIn Profile link attached
6. Portfolio ( good if you have )
7. strengths and weakness (not mandatory)

Fill Right Key Skills

If you are a software developer, please fill only relevant skills to development. For example, if you are a web developer mention only relevant skills such as JavaScript, HTML & CSS. Do not mention JavaScript and automation testing as these are completely different skills. Just to get your profile highlighted, please don't mention non relevant skills as this may lead your profile rejected. Mention all your key skills, technical skills, soft skills, certifications, tools and software that you are well versed in.

Follow Top Recruiters 

So now you have your profile complete and getting highlighted to the recruiters. Even you are getting calls from recruiters. The last step you need to do is to follow the top recruiters. You might have seen many recruiters getting recommended on the site, so please follow them to get instant job updates from them. If possible you can message them directly for any new vacancies.
